Pear & Crumble Bake
These bakes are like a soft flapjack but taste just like apple crumble! A tasty snack, breakfast or lunchbox filler. Not suitable for under one-year olds.

Ingredients
- 175 g oats*
- 2 small apples
- 2 pears
- 2 bananas
- 30 g sultanas
- 2 tbsp honey NO HONEY FOR UNDER 1s. This can be subbed for maple syrup or omitted altogether.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees
- Peel, core and grate the apples and pears. Mash the banana2 small apples, 2 bananas, 2 pears
- Add the rest of the ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix really well175 g oats*, 30 g sultanas, 2 tbsp honey
- Once combined add the mixture to a lined 20X20cm dish, pushing down firmly with the back of a spoon
- Pop in the oven for 20 minutes. Once cooled cut into 12 equal slices
Notes
Store in an airtight container for three days or freeze any leftover slices for up to three months.
Allow the slices to cool before freezing. To freeze, place a piece of baking paper between each slice to stop them from sticking together and place them into a labelled freezer bag for easy storage.
When you’re ready, the slices can be either defrosted for a couple of hours at room temperature and they’ll be ready to eat, or they can be reheated straight from frozen in the microwave until hot all the way through (which should take around 60-90 seconds).
