Notes
Store in an airtight container for three days or freeze for up to three months.
Allow the fingers to fully cool before freezing. To freeze, place a piece of baking paper between each porridge finger to stop them from sticking together and place them into a labelled freezer bag for easy storage. Before sealing up the freezer bag, make sure you squeeze out as much air as possible!
When you’re ready, the slices can be either defrosted for a couple of hours at room temperature (perfect for a lunchbox snack) or reheated straight from frozen in the microwave until hot all the way through (which should take around 60-90 seconds).
