Cherry Oaty Bars
These oaty bars are naturally sweetened by the cherries. They're a great shape and size for your baby to hold, which promotes self feeding.

Ingredients
- 80 g cherries destoned and chopped
- 100 g oats* 90g for the bars and 10g for sprinkling on top
- 170 ml full fat cows milk can replace for plant based* alternative
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 drop vanilla essence
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 190c.
- Soak your oats in the milk for a couple of minutes.100 g oats*, 170 ml full fat cows milk
- Add in the cherries, cinnamon and vanilla essence and mix well together.80 g cherries, 1 drop vanilla essence, 1 tsp cinnamon
- Spoon equally into a silicone mini loaf finger mould and press down.
- Use the remaining oats to sprinkle on top.100 g oats*
- Pop in the oven for 25 minutes.
Notes
Store these bars in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
To freeze, make sure the bars have fully cooled and place them inside a labelled freezer bag, or container, with a piece of baking paper between each one to stop them from sticking together. When sealing the bag, squeeze out as much air as possible to help keep your bars fresh during freezing.
When you’re ready to use, defrost overnight in an airtight container and the bars will be ready to eat. If you’d prefer to serve them to your little one warm, reheat from frozen in the microwave for around 60 – 90 seconds, until hot all the way through.
