Strawberry Bliss Balls
These bliss balls are a great way to get that all important fruit into your little one. They're a no bake recipe so you don't need an oven, you can mix up the fruits to create different flavours and are soft enough to give from six months old.
Servings 12 balls
Ingredients
- 5 strawberries frozen strawberries can be used but will need to add in the extra oats mentioned below
- 330 g oats* 250g to begin with, slowly add the remainder if needed depending on consistency of the mixture
- 20 g desiccated coconut plus a little extra for rolling in
- 1 tbsp coconut oil can sub for plant based* alternative
- 1 tbsp full-fat cows milks
Instructions
- Line a baking tray or plate with baking paper.
- Add all of the ingedients into a food processor and blend. If the mixture is too wet add extra oats in. The mixture should feel a little sticky.5 strawberries, 330 g oats*, 20 g desiccated coconut, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp full-fat cows milks
- Using you hands, roll the mixture in to approximatly 12 equal snack sized balls.
- Roll each ball into the extra desiccated coconut until the have a thin coat on the outside.20 g desiccated coconut
- Pop each one on to the plate / tray and into the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
Store any leftover balls in an airtight container in the fridge and use them within 2 days.
