Blueberry Cereal Bars
These are a step up from the Banana Porridge finger. They're fine to give from six months but I'd probably give the porridge fingers first and then these once your baby is full swing into weaning. These are slightly sweeter and thicker than the porridge fingers. Great to have as a freezer stash, to give with breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients
- 90 g oats*
- 170 ml full-fat cows milk* can sub for plant based milk
- 80 g blueberries chopped in half
- 2 bananas mashed
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp desiccated coconut optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 190c.
- Soak the oats in the milk for a few minutes.90 g oats*, 170 ml full-fat cows milk*
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.80 g blueberries, 2 bananas, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp desiccated coconut
- Spoon into a silicone finger mould and press down.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
Notes
Store these bars in an airtight container for 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
Before freezing, make sure the bars have fully cooled. Place a piece of baking paper between each one and place them into a labelled freezer bag for easy storage.
When you’re ready, the slices can be either defrosted for a couple of hours at room temperature/ inside a lunchbox (perfect for a lunchbox snack) or reheated straight from frozen in the microwave for approximately 60-90 seconds.
